NEED TO KNOW

  • Itinerary: Visit an authentic spice market with your local guide, receive professional chef instruction while preparing and cooking 3 Sichuan dishes, all food and beverages are included
  • Start Location: Hotel pick-up is provided at central hotels located within the 2nd ring road. Full meeting details will be sent upon booking.
  • End Location: At Chilli Cool’s cooking studio in central Chengdu.
  • Dietary Requirements & Allergies: This cooking class is vegetarian friendly, but you must notify us of any dietary requirements prior to your class date, same-day requests cannot be guaranteed.
WHAT TO EXPECT
  • Explore an authentic spice market with your local guide and complete a fun challenge to obtain special ingredients which will be used in the cooking class afterwards.
  • Take a walk through Chengdu’s back streets to a hidden, traditional Sichuan courtyard where the ingredients and spices you collected from the market will be put to use.
  • Learn about Sichuan tea culture while sipping on local Gaiwan tea, as is tradition when entertaining guests.
  • Meet your local professional chef and follow their step-by-step instructions to prepare your local Sichuan dishes.
  • Have a go at Sichuan’s spicy specialties and see how much you can handle.
